Australia executive team

Tania Balcombe

Chief Executive Officer, Australia and New Zealand

Tania is the Chief Executive Officer, ANZ for NTT Ltd. She manages the end-to-end go-to-market, sales, delivery, operations, and profitability for Australia and New Zealand.

Tania was previously Senior Vice President, Go-to-Market and Chief Marketing Officer for Australia, executing our go-to-market strategy and managing all vendor and partner alliances. In 2015-16, Tania was also State Manager for our Victorian and South Australian branch operations.

Tania combines IT industry experience, deep business understanding and strategic thinking. She is passionate about the client experience and building a culture of excellence.

Tania holds a Bachelor of Business from University of Technology, Sydney with a double major in Marketing and Management. She is based in Sydney and outside of work enjoys spending time with her family, including her two children and dog.

David Gold

Senior Vice President, Managed Services, Australia

David is Senior Vice President – Managed Services for NTT Ltd. in Australia. He is responsible for setting the strategic direction and driving growth for transformation and platform services including all aspects of IT-as-a-Service, outsourcing, and support services. David is also a member of the NTT Ltd. Australian Executive Committee.

Dave joined Dimension Data Australia in 1998, holding numerous technical, business unit and managed services management roles before being in appointed in 2013 as National General Manager (Maintenance and Managed Services. He then held the role of Director of Transformational Services at Dimension Data Australia before commencing his current role in 2019.

David has a wealth of experience in building high performance teams, driving business transformation and helping clients meet their strategic goals. David has a strong technical grounding and holds a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town. He has received numerous internal awards notably the Australian CEO award, and the Global CEO award for Global Senior Leader of the Year in 2014.

He is based in Sydney with his wife and two children, and enjoys spending time with family and keeping fit and healthy.

Debra Bordignon

Senior Vice President, Strategy, Innovation and Technology, Australia

Debra is Senior Vice President with NTT Ltd Australia. She shapes portfolio strategy through exploring disruptive technologies, market opportunities and our evolving society needs.   

Debra and her team created and operate the first NTT Client Innovation Centre (CIC) in Sydney Australia. This facility and engagement model bring together a wealth of innovation assets from across NTT R&D, NTT Group companies, universities, technology partners and our start up eco-systems to explore opportunities to accelerate transformation, to lead change in markets and to incubate new commercial offerings.  

The Strategy, Innovation and Technology Office shapes co-innovation agendas with NTT clients and eco-systems. They focus on transformational themes and emerging technologies in the areas of health, wellness and ageing, higher education, government, livable cities, industry, food, energy, financial services, professional services and trade. 

Debra’s career in ICT has spanned 30 years, encompassing sales, consulting, strategy and IT advisory, management, executive leadership and non-executive directorship. 

Outside her NTT role, Debra currently serves as a non-executive director on boards and advisory councils, supporting not for profits, start ups and universities. 

Gavin Douglas

Senior Vice President, Sales, Australia

Gavin is Senior Vice President, Sales, responsible for delivering NTT Ltd.’s Australian revenue and gross margin.

He is a respected leader who drives a high-performance sales culture and recognises the importance of fostering strong internal and external relationships to support continued growth.

Gavin joined Dimension Data Australia as New South Wales Sales Manager in 2005, and was promoted to the national sales role in 2012.

With a passion for pioneering new market opportunities, Gavin connects corporate vision to local team execution, and successfully coaches his teams to solve complex client challenges and execute strategic account and opportunity plans.

Gavin holds a Bachelor of Technology (Manufacturing Engineering) (DN) from University of Technology Sydney. He is based in Sydney and on the weekends enjoys water sports including surfing, snorkelling, diving and mountain bike riding.

Ken Westwood

Chief Operating Officer, Australia

Ken is the Chief Operating Officer for NTT Ltd. in Australia. He has operational responsibility for all NTT Ltd. businesses in the Australian region, and is also the head of the Digital Business division in Australia.

Ken is focused on continuing to extend NTT Ltd.’s reputation as a client-centric, services-led organisation, and drives the execution of transformational strategy across the business with specific focus on digital transformation, Consulting and Professional Services, Managed Services, Cloud/XaaS and Security Services.

In 2004, Ken was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer for Dimension Data System Integration business in Australia, a role he held until he became the Chief Operating Officer for the Dimension Data Global Cloud Solutions Business in 2011.

In 2016 he returned to the Australian business as the Chief Operating Officer for the Dimension Data Australia Group of companies, inclusive of the additional responsibilities as the CEO of the Digital Business division (formerly Oakton) in 2017.

Ken brings invaluable management expertise and, in addition to his operational experience at Dimension Data, over 25 years’ experience working in senior executive and business leadership roles for a number of organizations focused on ICT services.

Ken also holds an MBA and a Masters in General Management. In his life outside of NTT, Ken enjoys spending time with his family, skiing and also has a keen interest in music and plays the saxophone, guitar and piano. 

Susie Cotroneo

Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Australia

Susie is Senior Vice President – Human Resources for NTT Ltd. in Australia. She is responsible for leading the national Human Resources team and aligning that team’s services to NTT Ltd.’s strategic business needs in Australia.

Her aim is to ensure that NTT Ltd. in Australia works to foster an environment where employees are engaged, learning and developing to achieve their potential.

Susie joined Dimension Data Australia as Director, People and Culture in 2016. Prior to Dimension Data, she had a long and successful tenure with CSC Australia, including as Director BU HR Australia and New Zealand.

Susie is accountable for the execution of our global HR strategy and programs that are implemented in the Australian region, including all leadership programs and high potential programs.

She is also responsible for our corporate social responsibility program Heads, Hearts and Hands. Susie has a reputation for successfully driving strategies that align with business, lift performance and inspire HR teams to excel.

Susie holds a Graduate Diploma in Organisational Change and Consulting from RMIT University, and a Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from Kangan Institute of TAFE.

She is based in Melbourne, is an ardent netball player and gym junkie, and loves to spend her spare time relaxing at the beach.

Tarquin Bellinger

Senior Vice President, ICT Solutions, Australia

Tarquin is COO of NTT Communications Australia. NTT Communications is part of the NTT Ltd. group and specializes in helping clients overcome the challenges of working in a hybrid IT environment.

Using our unique service management approach to provide clients with an agile infrastructure that’s secure and software defined.

In 2009 Tarquin was appointed General Manager – Operations at Harbour ISP, which was acquired by NTT Communications in 2013. He was promoted to COO in 2014.

Tarquin has more than 30 years’ experience in a variety of roles in general management, product management and corporate strategy in Australia, UK and US in the hosting, managed services and telecommunications industries.

Tarquin holds a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Auckland University and a Masters in Management Science from London Business School, although he would swap all of this to be a better surfer than his children.

Tim Cavill

Senior Vice President, Australia

Tim Cavill is Senior Vice President for NTT Ltd. in Australia and a member of the NTT Ltd. Australian Executive Committee.

He is responsible for client success; ensuring our clients extract value from the services we deliver, and underpinning their strategic business plans with the equivalent technology transformational plans.

He drives strategy, contemporary services and business models, whilst maintaining service excellence. Tim joined Dimension Data Australia in April 2019, having previously lead BT Australasia as Regional Managing Director. Tim’s experience includes senior executive roles with SAP, Managing Director Orange Business Services and International SOS.

Tim is passionate about the value of building diversity, and creating sustainable high performance teams. He has operated as a Non-Executive Director for ASX listed entities, and currently mentors a number of software businesses in the education sector.

He is an advisor to Indigenous Business Australia. Tim also serves as a Councillor with the Australian British Chamber of Commerce, a role he has held since 2014.
